Amy Tan is the author of The Joy Luck Club, The Kitchen Gods Wife, The Hundred Secret Senses, and two childrens b九*九*藏*書ooks, The Moon Lady and The Chinese Siamese Cat, which will be adapted as a PBS series for childrread.99csw.comen. Tan was a co-producer and co-screenwriter of the film version of The Joy Luck Club , and her essays 九九藏書and stories have appeared in numerous magazines and anthologies. Her work has been translated into more than twenty-read.99csw.comfive languages. Tan, who has a masters degree in linguistics from San Jose State University, has worked as a language sp九_九_藏_書ecialist to programs serving children with developmental disabilities. She lives with her husband in San Francisco and New York.
